Hi all,

here is my first attempt at a saxophone quartet

lunch at Meat Buddies'

EmotiveScores

Great job!  Although I think your score video is not aligned to the notes properly.  From 2:25 on it just stays on the last measure, having passed over whole swaths of music way too early.  The rendition sounds really realistic - is this a live performance?  Thanks for sharing!

Great you appreciated it ! The piece was performed by NotePerformer, a wonderful piece of software indeed. Having virtual saxophones sound "realistic" has long been a lost battle. This has improved significantly with virtual instruments such as SWAM saxophones. Here, it is only NoterPerformer right out of the box. I just activated/deactivated the vibrato on some saxes, and some parts of the piece, so that it would not sound too synthetic. Apart from this, NotePerformer is doing a very good job interpreting all the markings on the score.

Many thanks for your feedback ! (I can't see the misalignment on the video)
