T贸nsk谩ld Posted July 3, 2022 Share Posted July 3, 2022 So it's a nice start, I think. Next up, you need to either introduce a new theme (in a related key or the same) or vary your current theme. You could also change the last chord to a deceptive or imperfect cadence, which nicely sets you up for new material. As for the harmony, it's sparse but functional. I notice you use the violas to double other parts' notes, which is not ideal. Try offering them some counterpoint or contrary motion (harmony that moves in the opposite direction of the melody).
