The 2nd highest scoring composition will receive the "2nd Place - 'The Tortoise and the Hare' Competition" Badge and the $60 USD prize! The 3rd highest scoring composition will receive the "3rd Place - 'The Tortoise and the Hare' Competition" Badge and the $40 USD prize! This smaller community thing is a lot better than these big name comps that draw in thousands of entries and the judges actually expect you to believe they listened to them all.
