Way Down

I composed this jazz song about 15 years ago. Yes, I compose in C too often, which is a sacrilege in classical music and simply vulgar for wind musicians but I can’t help it. Moreover, I started the song with a C-major chord but the E note is one octave higher such that the C major chord is then expanded such that it does not sound cheap or K-pop. The real deal is in the chord progression. For some reasons those chords progressing from C1 sounds good on my Steinway D. Also, I just like to have my hands full with large chords.
