Musically speaking, this piece is very beautiful. You were able to portray some various emotions here, and the one emotion that stands out to me is solemn. I enjoyed this piece very much.

One thing I would like to talk about is the score itself. While the work itself is beautiful, I feel that some slight adjustments to the score would make it far more readable. I had a hard time following the score, and I think it may have to do with your constant time signature changes. I feel like all of these changes were unnecessary in this piece, and you likely could have written most of the score in common time. You really want to avoid changing time signatures too often unless the music calls for rhythmic updates. Instead, you could just make some slight adjustments to fit the music into 4/4 (in this case) and the listener wouldn't even notice.

Bottom line is, if you find yourself constantly having to update the time signature, it means that you are being way too literal with all of your beats. And I just feel being too literal like this overcomplicates the score unnecessarily. But this is just my opinion.

Hello, and welcome to the forums!

I don't want to repeat Chopin's words but consider his advice, the overuse of cauldrons does suggest a tempo change. Perhaps the website taptempo.io would be of use to you.

The piece itself sounds very nice, it is balanced and well articulated, technically simple at the first glance, though it has some scoring errors that I believe that haven't been mentioned: image.png
— Eb and Ab are redundant here (if you still want to put them, encasing them into brackets is the most common way to do so).

— The spacing between systems is equal or less than the spacing between sub-systems, potentially making readability more confusing.

— Not an error, but I would say that putting instruments names and abbreviations of them on each page would also help improving readability, which is actually the only blatant issue I see with this piece. Perhaps there're subtler ones, but in that field I am clueless in this case.

All in all, a good piece that gave me —in all honesty— a decent amount of pleasure. Thank you for sharing it.

Kind regards,
Daniel–Ømicrón.

Hi @Metin Bahtiyar,

Welcome to the forum and thanks for joining the community!

I love the overall contemplative tone in this music, and the combination of clarinet, violin, viola and piano is good. I find the harmony in b.22 amazing with the simultaneous usage of G minor and B major, the hexatonic pole between each other. I love this section very much. Is the ending on a second inversion chord intentional? It does give an unending feeling for me!

I agree with @chopin with the scoring issue. Apart from the unnecessary usage of the meters, I also find the constant usage of fermatas strange here. You can just use a minim for a prolonged crotchet, for example.

You can also take your time to look into other talented members' posts and if possible, review them!!

Thanks for sharing!

Henry
