A short bagatelle in ABAC form. (will be expanding it later, based on your critiques)

Waddaya think?

good work I like it. It's simple but beatiful and it has a bit of magic.

:P

Thanks.

Update coming soon.

Hmm... I can tell by the Italian word that there's some sort of form or idea that's suggested. But I can't comment on that.

I can say that this is a very enjoyable piece with a lovely melody. You never lose direction in the piece; I want to hear the end. In a good way.

The ending was by no means a letdown, as it resolves everything nicely, but I found the left hand part a little odd. I was suprised, but it felt like you lost some of the pleasant-ness of the music. Not the beauty or the well-written-ness, just the pleasant-ness. I hope that made a tiny bit of sense. Anyway, I like the piece a lot, extremely pleasant to listen to. And again, the melody is excellent, and the whole piece has a cohesive mood that I enjoy very much.

That's a bagatelle! :]

Wow! I'm sorry, but i have to ask!!! Was that sarcasm? :D

New piece..

Bagatelle - The beginning theme is not much to listen to. It's simple, but it doesn't sound like it will go anywhere. The B portion of the music was quite nice though - inventive both melodically and rhythmically. The ending is far too dramatic though for this. It's playful, and the ending should just be playful as well.

Scherzo - Nice quick piece here, the opening theme has a definite jazz quality to it. The second half seems like ti want sto go somewhere, but you keep cutting it off. I'm honestly not sure what to make of it. There is material in here that wnats to satisfy me, but it doesn't. but, if it's something you ae working on still, perhaps a more drawn out version will do so.

No, I most certainly was not being sarcastic, though I might've been unclear about my meaning. By cohesive I just meant that the mood was consistant, until the end right there, which was too dramatic (Matusleo nailed it right on the head). And the definition of Bagatelle... well... oh. I feel a little stupid. lol.

The opening of the next song was nice, but you've got these little themes that always feel like they need to be repeated just one more time to let me feel them fully. Also, the left hand parts start to feel a little harsh after a while. Anyway, there's some great ideas in there, I'd love to hear more exposition on them. The ending was again, not the best part of the song. It's an ok finish, but it isn't satisfactory.

Well, I did a bit of work on the scherzo. (It's certainly very far from being a finished piece, though)

It sounds perfect mate, which is saying a lot coming from someone as amazing and talented as myself.
