Improvised Quasi Fugue-ish

Hi Christopher.

What makes you think this is a quasi fugue-ish piece? Just out of curiosity. It doesn't sound bad but it does not sound like a fugue to me. I know that 2-voice fugues exist but you know it costs me to identify the usual fugue elements. It sound like an improv, but at 3:33 I just realised I was not following any specific melodic line... I do like pieces being shown in straight-forwardly (no speech, no smoke you know), but I am really curious on this title you put.

My favourite part began at ~4:30 all the way to the end. I just found it relaxing.

Kind regards,
Daniel–Ømicrón.

I used the F# minor fugue theme of Shostakovich as a starting point. I don’t particularly care if the result of this is this or that thing or something else. Yes, it was improvised.

Aaaah makes sense now. My knowledge of Dmitry is close to none. New piece discovered 👍.

Kind regards!
