Waltz no.3

Hi, this is another piece that I was gonna come back to. It started as a spin off of the waltz no.2 by Shostakovich. I wanted it to feel like a song to actually Waltz to, to kind of feel fun. How does the song make you feel? Any constructive criticism or suggestions on structure and flow would be appreciated.

Do you have the pdf score for us to review it more deeply?

I have to admit the whole beginning section of the waltz is very similar to the opening theme of Sho's Waltz no.2. I think you should change the theme to prevent that, particularly the rhythm of the melodic theme. In 1:34 there is a new theme and is less akin to it. You can probably add those waltz accompaniment first if you don't what to do next!

Thanks for the reply. Yes I agree it is very similar in the beginning, I was thinking of variations to mitigate that. Appreciate the feedback.
