September 10, 20232 yr This is a short action cue piece called "Confrontation!" that I wrote for orchestra. It's supposed to resemble what would be an action cue in a movie or video game, particularly a fantasy type with an "epic" feel to it. Star Wars is my favorite fantasy epic so it's probably inspired from that mostly. Anyhow, I know my engraving skills aren't the best, but I welcome any constructive feedback. Thank you!
September 10, 20232 yr Action sequence scoring is a skill I've yet to master: so I'm grateful you've posted this! I like your use of 17-tuplets to inject energy into the tempo. There seem to be occasional issues with dynamic markings being printed on top of each other. Overall though, a good listen, and I can definitely hear echoes of George Lucas/John Williams!
