waking up theme

I made this short guitar piece yesterday. I've been playing a lot of Nobuo Uematsu's soft work lately and I got into it a lot. I had a dream about a song I had stuck in my mind and when I woke up, I wrote out a short tune. I'm not sure whether I got some of his work mixed up in a dream of mine and just put it out as a peice, but here it is. I'm no expert at finger picking on a guitar, but I'm beggining to get the hang of it.

I think it's a nice theme. You just have to develop the idea and work on the arrangement to turn it into a great piece of music! Keep it up!

i like it, but there are a mistake in the harmonies, i like disharmonies (Bass at 07secs) but this just sounds wrong in that Piece.

But over all its a nice little Melodie!

i know this is a bit of an old thread but i had to comment, this is great!i actually love the descent of the bass note in the opening. would work in Final Fantasy definately, would fit in FF9 i methinks.

I also play a lot of nobuo uematsu. Im a big fan. This piece kind of reminds me of end of dimension from chrono cross or that farm theme from ff7.

I agree that it has a lot of potential. I look forward on hearing a more updated version of this...thats if your making a better version

I haven't tried to get another section going...the key is nice and relaxing, and I'm trying to find some tones and stuff that'l fit or something.
