modern orchestral

form the opera clown , a work in progress , it will have a tenor singing here , about finding renaissance love , and the cast closly surrounds the prince as he befriends a Clown , looking like slip knot ...very dramatic images here.. I have been working on the larger body of this , work , ( 'ACT I ) of the Opera Clown .. its a PUN Clown is only a name people have Labeled me with , and although it doesn`t bother me ( The name per say ) alot of things about the way people distroy our freedom , does. In fact inialationists , lable us .(infidels).. to distroy us... So Clown is the," lable" given to distroy , the Opera`s priciple caracters` , Moral Values ... everythings funny:)) , he`s a Joke ...but, only the children see"Clown" different ... and guess what?? thats what they took from me that inspired me to write it all in an opera for the main stage , in a giant Verdi type theator...they took my children ( dureing the Transition from communism to democracy in Eastern Europe ... when I finish the piece I will figure out how much I want to expose of the reason I wrote this ... and mabey concentrate on the possitive way i prevented the same thing happening to others in the end by giving a solution to the prejudgement passed .;...

Was it meant to end as abruptly or was that just an extract you cut when you thought we'd been given enough?

I'd need to hear more before commenting.

It reminds me of P. Glass' style in something like his Music(s) for Dance - Dance IV, or parts of Satyagraha but less hypnotic and too short to hear how it transforms etc.

Well... in one side i like the rythm of this piece and on the other side i personally don't like the piece at all. The First Side is the interesting side, the rythm feels realy free at all and thats what i like. What i don't like is the Orchestration of this Piece. I see its minimalistic but if i would conduct it if would think about how boring it is after the first 30 seconds. I miss something quiet idealistic in it. Something what makes me think "whoosa, thats pretty good".

The Audioproductions is also not the best, what you use?

The Percussionline is really good, thats what i like but i miss the freedom in the orchestra it sounds all unmotivated.

Well thats what i can say about the 2mins (yeah its abrupting!) and its just my personal view :P

I also liked the free feeling in the beginning, but I lost interest in the repetitive synth line after a while. When will we hear it with vocals?
