my question is: why the suden accented banging of the chords? it seemed highly illogical to me, since the overall flow of the piece is quite serene, an adante, very soft, those banging of the chords disrupts this nice picture... maybe that was your original intention.

one suggestion, instead of using big staccato chord playing at fortissimo all over the place, you should sustain the chord, and hit it softly, i think that should improve the overall quality of the piece.

of course this is nothing but my opinion, it's still your piece, it's up to you to write it.

there were also some minor chord mistakes, illogical dissonances, here and there, go fix it, and you have a decent piece to turn in.

6/10

Listen to Beethoven's most famous pieces like Pathetique, etc., etc., over and over and over and over and over again, and then rewrite the very end and add one more part to it, and end it more nicely than before. The dissonances and random accents don't really hold the piece up structurally, it could use a lot of work. The last three measure are odd and the piece ends abruptly. If your remove some dissonances, and make the piece flow more by removing some accents, and fixing the ending, you'll definitely have a much better piece.

I think finale is doing something with those dissonances. I hear three notes when they occur, and there's only two on the score. I'd suggest maybe clearing up the dissonance, and then the piece would seem a little more coherent :P

He's got the chords listed randomly under everything at the beginig of each measure....... and it plays those chords...along with his piece... so they sound VERY out of place.

Kartapanis you need to remove those chord markings...lol.
