Another Day in the City

I finally finished writing the score. Before completion, I had this posted as "Got to Escape" under soundtracks, but i added a lot more vocals and its now done. I feel that it is a great listen, so if you have a chance, tell me what you think.

Hm. Very enjoyable. Loved the piano part. The rhythm was interesting. The voice part started out fine but later they really started to conflict with each other to the point where i didnt really want to listen anymore. However, the melodies were much more sublime than standard rock. Most standard rock bands dont care about real sound. They just crank up the volume all the way and hope the punk rockers like it. The fact that you paid attention to melodies (and to a lesser extent, harmonies) really was what made me enjoy the peice more than anything.

9/10

Nice piece for easy listening. I enjoyed it. I liked the moments where there was some play between the parts. The only other thing I will say is that I think it might be nice to add some "borrowed" harmonies to add a little more interest. You don't have to anything wild but some splashes of harmonic color might be nice.

Nice piece. I enjoyed listening to it!
