Links in signatures

I have an external link in my signature, and it's working. How does the Mike suppose I managed to put it there? Try figuring that out without looking at my signature code. :dry:

Why aren't we allowing external sigs again???

In a nutshell, it constitutes using YC's resources to aid other websites (in terms of both pagerank and advertising), and the depth of search bot spidering may be reduced if they encounter external links. At least, I think that was chopin's theory behind it all.
