A short harpsichord piece

Very short- could possibly be used as a piano/harpsichord study. You can tell i ran out of ideas and inspiration towards the end ;)

The 'Trommelbass' from :30 on sometimes sounds really off. It's never used in this manner in Baroque music. Why have you named the piece 'partita'?

There are some interesting ideas in here, but yes, you do seem to be just exploring around with ideas. They begin, but your phrases all seem to reach a point as if the music is pausing and wondering where it ought to go next.

With the feel of th eideas you place din the beginning, I would expect that this piece would be a bit more headlong in its tempo You have far too much hesitation in the last half of the piece.

But you do have some good ideas that could provide for an interesting harpsichord piece.

When making music in FL Studio, i don't spend alot of time thinking up of file names. That's why. So, when exporting this particular harpsichord piece, the one word that came up was "partita", because harpsichords are usually used in partitas, right?

Earlier, a variation in a 'theme and variations'-structure was also called 'partita' (the theme would be partita I, the first variation partita II, ...).

Bach has written some violin and harpsichord partitas similar to Baroque dance suites.

Partita is the name of a particular collection of pieces. I have a book that defines it this way:

This piece starts off with a couple of strong ideas. At the hallfway point, consider some other arpeggiated or scalewise movement for the left hand, rather than the monotonous reps for a more contrapuntal feel - imho. :)

I think you have a good start here and with some tweaking, can turn into a nice piece with baroque stylings! Maybe a future in the fugue form? ;) :D :D
