I don't know how to comment music, realy, but i like it :) so many talented people here... :)

This is really interesting xtremeaiy.

First of all, I dunno why you called it a waltz. It's clearly in duple time. . . . oh wait. No! There we go. It's just changed. How exciting. I'm writing whilst listening, so I apologize if some of this makes little sense. The left hand texture seems slightly too thick in places, but I think that may just be my midi player's attempts to pedal your piece. It would probably be fine on a real piano. I really like it - so I'll try to focus on making constructive criticism, otherwise I'll just keep spewing out compliments.

I love your harmony; it's really quite like Satie in places, yet you've managed to use impressionistic harmony in a way that copes very well with your melody. It sounds pretty eastern European, which I really like. The melody gets annoying though (again, with expression it might be different), and after a while the single little ornamented figure that you repeat again and again gets exhausting. The continuous forte bashing is also a bit tedious. The part where the left-hand takes the melody could easily be legato and piano, which would help create contrast. Maybe you've not got round to putting in all your articulations and dynamics? I dunno, but I think that would really be an easy way to make the whole piece more satisfying.

Overall, I like it, but I think it needs to be part of a strongly contrasting set in order to be effective. Try to get it performed, and add some dynamics. :)

I'm off to listen to the other one! Well done.

Very nice piece. I agree with Zetetic in that the melody often is overdone, and I think this is because of the lack of dynamic variation. I think this piece could sound very sweet and Chopin-esque if you can manage to make the dynamics a tad more interesting. It could just be the MIDI playback though (which has overtly soured the excellent quality of the piece).

You are clearly a talented musician and I was very taken by this piece. Very nice runs with good harmonic support in the bass. Very Polish sounding in my opinion, I might even call this a Mazurka lol. Keep up the good work!

I was gonna say - it doesn't sound particularly waltz-like! But still excellent yes. I think if you make the 3rd one in the set slightly more contrasting then you'll have yourself an excellent set of pieces.
