Only Started Piano Concerto

Here is a piano concerto that i have started.

I'm not sure whether to continue with it.

It's mainly a rough sketch of ideas.

I'd appreciate comments on thematic material and so on. Thanks!

that was a nice start to a concerto. It was quite cleanly orchestrated and obviously somewhat thematic. You seem to have a decent sense of a concerto form so far. However, you seem to be a little unsure of your harmony. It's occasionally fairly clumsy, but this could be fixed by getting yourself a theory book (or a good harmony one) and learning from that.

I don't know if you've done any theory previously, but it's absolutely essential to a budding composer.

Another complaint is that you rely too heavily on the one motive or theme, and keep playing around with it, but that's a minor issue.

Good start, and I look forward to seeing progress with this.
