Ferocious Battle (video game music)

This piece is especially written to be played at the "end boss battle" of any kind of video game. You can loop it, but I have made an ending to it.

The things I'm not pleased about is the ending, and the way to variate the rhythm.

The ending is too hard and too abrupt. And the rhythm is so steady that it is almost impossible to find a way out of it. How do I make it quiet down... I'm not so good at that. The ending... I think I overdid it, maybe too "ferocious".

The beginning has chord progressions that I don't like, they are too simplistic. And the score: I didn't have the time to make it look beautiful, sorry for that.

So what are your thoughts on the highly dissonant and FFsz ending? Not only thoughts, but what did you actually feel, did you feel awkward or did you have any weird emotions while you listened to the ending?

I think the big amount of chords and instruments at the ending make the sound too blurry.

OMG, it's exactly a Square-Enix stunt! BIG Boss with the light orchestrated music behind. I like this a WHOLE lot! Very beautiful melodyline, with some cheer parts. Man, you should see if Square-Enix would let you join their Grandia team.

the Bell at the beginning seems to be too loud, strings at the beginning are also too loud.. Then when waves goes up they stop too abruptly, it's better to make them smoothy..

It sounds ok, it sounds even great, but you better work on it a little more :D
