Part 1 :: Infiltration

This track is more in my 'comfort zone' so to speak. Is it what is says, a track presented during infiltration. This would specifically atone to, say you were playing a game, when you were not spotted by enemies. (Think stealth games like Splinter Cell or something like that.)

Don't bother listening to this in lo-fi though because in this style of music its the effects that really make the music and you can't hear them how they should be at all really in lo-fi unfortunately.

What specifically would you say would make this sound better in your opinion?

Nice theme, overall. I think the thing that hurts this piece the most is that the samples aren't true staccato samples, i.e. your attack rates are too slow.

Here are some suggestions for the composition, though:

- Try to work on tension. Imo, tension is a combination of instrument buildup and the intervals; the shorter the interval the more suspenseful. So, you might want to try making the introduction a little longer with less instruments and some glissandos or quick pizzicato passages to add the "jump" factor.

- Imo, longer passages on any wind or brass instrument do not add tension to a stealth piece, unless it is a soft trill or sforzando.

- You might want to build up tension and then break it down again. This helps to keep the listener from becoming bored. It also gives your next buildup or new instrument more impact.

^what they said.. I'm a guy who enjoys a great melody, in which I find a bit lacking in this and every other stealth BGM... Stand out a bit, give it a memorable melody!
