Scherzo In E major No.1

This is my Scherzo In E major for Piano.

Prestissimo.

Is this possible to play????????????

Slow it down. No normal person could play it at that tempo.

It sounds pretty bad at that tempo...it might be cool at a slower pace...it probably could be played, but would sound better if slowed down a bit. Sounds more like and etude than a scherzo. A scherzo is supposed to be humorous and joking, this sounds too serious.

Have you heard Chopin's scherzi? they sound very serious to me.

Like the others said, too fast. When you have sixteenth separated by sixteenth rests, it would be easier on the eyes to just write eighth note with a staccato, because the right interpretation of that would be what you have written. I would say at measure 44, write eighth notes just in place of what you have alright. It's too sturdy of a cadence to give quarter-quarter-half; make it a scherzo, make it a joke. Have little cadences throughout the entire piece and make the audience think that you're going to end, but instead you don't. Music humor, eh.

A scherzo is supposed to be a dance. And how is it serious? I thought it was the opposite. It definately needs a slower tempo =)
