Pirates of the Caribbean - At World's End Score

The third 'Pirates' installment is again being scored by Hans Zimmer... and not much has changed. Don't get me wrong, I think the new score is fantastic but you can still expect the same, swashbuckling, Hans Zimmer-ian sounding score.

What is new (from what I heard from the samples) are some Asian influences to fit the new film, parts of which take place in the Asia region.

Some very romantic love themes are also introduced.

All together, I believe it is a great score that had many similarities with his DaVinci Code and Gladiator scores.

Well, I like it more than the second one. I felt that the soundtrack to DMC was less inspired than the first - AWE has brought some refreshing things to the score. I can't wait to hear it in the movie. Hans Zimmer never seems to dissappoint (and when he does, he usually still rapes donkey).

Yeah I'm completely psyched for the movie. The soundtrack kicks the first two's asses. Hans Zimmer has yet to disappoint me with a score I didn't like.

Well, i think its great, the pieces really fits the scenes...
