My latest work: Sonata no 1, movement one

Hi all,

With all my busy moments recently, I was able to finish one piece: The first part of my first serious sonata. I uploaded the pdf with this post. The mp3 file always gives an error when I try to upload it so I give a link instead:

I liked it a lot and I don't have that many critisms. Just one main thing - I think the recording is different than the actual music at the last several bars - I mean the recordings seems to skip some stuff.

Anyhow, it was enjoyable and well-written.

Damn...I was so eager to listen to this, but the link doesn't work!

By the way, this is a very nice score. What program did you use to typeset it?

Hi Bassam, I used Sibelius to typeset it. Great program!

Sorry for the confusing with the mp3 link, I checked it before posting it and it worked fine. But indeed, I did put the link to the old version, compared with the pdf file. Now, however, I fixed it. Clicking on the link will link to the version that you can read in the pdf file.

I love the way the motives are developed and the way the material unfolds from the opening bars.

Thanks for so many nice comments. I am working on the second movement and almost finished the last part of it. Most of it is already set in Sibelius as well so I hope I can upload it within a couple of days.
