Memory Waltz (String Orchestra)

I originally wrote this piece for piano, and just transcribed it for string orchestra a few weeks ago. I've been working on it on and off since then. I like it because it reminds me of pirates :w00t:. I know the ending is totally lame, I'm still thinking about what to do with it. any ideas there?

I like the beginning,...

But there seems to be no real leading melody in it,...

Maybe you could emphasize the melody or add it if no one is present.

The beginning reminds me of something, I think some kind of commercials,...

Nice. I like the beat and how you kind of carried off the parts based on the beat. I dunno. I'm not very good at articulating my thoughts into musical techno-blab. Nice work though.

I think you have a good start here. I think you should consider a more varied harmonic vocabulary to help formulate your piece.
