I would love to participate

I posted my entry but I am not sure how to bring the midi that is in one thread to the submissions thread. Help

Just remove it from the thread and re-upload it in the submissions thread. :)

I thought there might be a way to access it from both threads. Guess not. Any way it is there now.

You can if you sligtly change the file 1 so that the forum doesen't read it the same as file 2, I think. Did you try that?

So apparently Anders has left????

I could just assume he's playing evil tricks and laughing his donkey off at us, but that wouldn't be right, especially considering the admins. seemed to have removed his profile and history.

So what about this competition? Anders seemed to pretty much be the head of it. Mike? So what's going on?

Please count me in; if it isn't too late :sadtears:

KSP, why don't you take my place, since I never got around to writing a duet. :sadtears:

Thanks a lot! That would be awesome :sadtears:

I have no idea how the judging will be done. This will be my first judging here. Can someone tell me please ??

I recommend we stay with things as they were stated. Anyone that has a piece submitted in the submission thread by midnight Jul 31, is in. If someone else wishes to enter a piece, do so and as long as the original number of entries is not overcome they are allowed (on a first come first served basis). The judges will listen to the pieces and pick their favorites. The judges should PM each other and decide how to narrow down the pieces and continue voting and communicating until they have reached a winner.

Those of us who have already made their submissions would not like an extended deadline I'm sure.

For the record, the control panel log reveals that Anders deleted his account himself. His cited reason (courtesy of a last post left in the moderators' forum) was the forum drawing on his creative energy.

As for the remainder of this competition, it's not too complicated: the submissions thread will be closed after the deadline, the judges will all be PM'd a reminder for them to go over the submissions and reach their judgments by August 20, and the winner will be established from that. Commentaries will also be made available to all participants.

I must say that I'm pleased at the hearty number of entries for this competition, at least compared to the last one. :P It's sad to see Anders leave, but it's also nice to see a group of people come together and make something work.

Sooooo...

Today's the 20th. :(

I'm expecting Sinequanon's judgings soon... Don't know about the others.. I shall notify them.

I'm a little behind, but they'll be done today.

Well, it depends of what is your notion of today, mine ends in about 26 minutes. :happy:

It's currently 10:08 PM here, now that I'm done.

My today is your tomorrow. :w00t:

*Runs in circles impatiently*

I've received judgings from two of the judges. The rest will, I am hoping, follow shortly. It's partially my fault for not sending out regular reminders. ;)

May I partially strangle you, then?

I'd prefer it if you waited until the judges are also within strangling distance, so that they may come to my aid. :unsure:

:):unsure::)

:):unsure::angry:

Ditto :)
