Concerto

Featured Replies

Help :whistling: ! I need lots of ideas. I want this small piece of music to be a full movement of a concerto-namely 3rd. First, I need suggestions on the instrumentation(I think I may have made up my own definition for this word)of this piece. Some examples would be piano duet or string orchestra. Next, I need people to post the other instrument parts that would make the piece sound lively. I need lots of people to help me on this!

PS:Sorry for my horrible grammer!

Ok, #1 Intermediate.

The reason this was moved was because it didn't seem like you were willing to share copyrigth. If you are willing to, however, i will gladly move it back.

1.What copyright?

2.What do you mean "moved"? Wasn't it here the whole time?

i started to write some accompaniment to it, but im not sure for what do you need... is it Baroque or Classical?

It really doesn't matter. I think this melody is more Baroque rather than Classical, but if you have a good accompaniment, I would like to hear it. :)

Okay, so here it is =)

amateur-ish work.

Any comment welcomed.

Well....I like the beginning but towards the end, it begins to sound contempary-ish.

Does it? Where?

Starting in measure 5. It begins to sound disharmonic, mainly because the cello seems to be playing its own melody, and not the accompaniment, which makes this piece sound contemperary towards the end. Also, just a little idea-wouldn't it sound better with the cello(s) playing quarter notes? I just think that if all the instruments are playing eigth notes, this piece would sound a bit too frantic and fast. We need the cello(s) to give this piece a beat. Other than that, I think it sounds great. :glare:

I just wanted to slow it down a bit, thru the end. but thats ok.

thnks for the kudos =)
