Rondo Moderno

This is a short piece I wrote about 2 years ago. I'm not particulary fond of the final transition, however it ended up slightly erratic, which was my intention. I believe this was my second composition, which I intended to be played as a midi piece. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

well i'm not going to be a fuss so the only thing i'm going to say is that the ending could of used more.

how so? I wanted it to end without a total resolution, but I added the ritard so that it could be recognized as the end. if you could be a bit more specific, it'd help. thanks.

I get the same comment about the endings of some of my pieces. I don't mind hanging endings for any piece that has a jazz feel or has an "up in the air" mood - and this piece has both. Perhaps rather than a rit. just repeat the last 3 bars a little more slowly - as in this attachment. I like the piece - if it was the first movement of a larger work I think the original ending would be fine. A second movement would be great as it just whets the appetite for more.
