  1. I like to sing and hope to be able to have my own songs one day. I do not play instrument (I learnt a little bit of piano and guitar in the past). I haven't really studied any music theory either. I know the basic from the music classes I took in middle school. I would like to find out if it is possible at all to write songs and produce them myself in such a case? Is there any music software out there that is for people like me who did not receive much music education but are very interested in writing pop music? Is there any website that helps you learn the minimum in order to write and produce music in a prompt manner? (I am hoping to be able to start writing soon) What is the minimum I need to learn and know in order to write and produce? I always have the impression that pop music is easier to write than classic music, as it's less strict and it can be creative. Is that correct or no?

Umm...why not? Why should we take time out of our lives to critique your pieces if you won't do the same? It's a matter of common courtesy man!
  4. Nah, I'd rather just look at a score. I really like the orchestration I don't know how you can say you're not very good.. I mean it sounds really authentic, I'd be lucky to write something that authentic sounding. Do you study famous scores of movies and stuff or do you just write what you hear? If you so you must have a great ear.
  5. I really enjoyed the orchestration in the beginning. (I would really like to see the score so I can learn from you there, it's really authentic sounding). when the thumping bass comes in, I can hear the confusion in the melody very well and how it gets quieter for the second note and the grace notes. I love how awkward it is, it really gives it the feel that something is very wrong haha... then it all comes together with awesome drums and choir, it's just an all together great job. the choir sound is sooo haunting and beautiful like they are actually screaming it's really cool. i listened to it about 7 times so far... very well done. please put up a score.

I don't bother with such trivials. Oh dear. You're welcome. Your friendly neighborhood orchestral reviewer!

Actually it's meant to be a mindless freeform wandering, so I need to use a lot of different material. Also, I've had that progression at the end and needed to keep orchestrating it to find one that worked for it and I think this one is the best so far for that progression. I've done acoustic guitar ballads with it lol but this one is the coolest I thought. I needed something really stupid sounding leading into the second part of it so I used sort of a retarded marching band thing, because it needed to be scary. But I really like the harmony in the second part A LOT and the melody fits it well in this orchestration, but not so much if I wanted to make it a pop song.

Well yeah I didn't give the name any thought at all because I really didn't give the music any thought. I just think the second part sounds cool right now. I'll probably cut off the beginning and just save the second half as a better orchestrated version of that theme I've been wanting to write.
