Good idea, Luderart. What about a 16 Day, 16 Bar challenge in which entrants try to write the best short theme possible? :P Jan 1 - 16?

I agree it would be good to continue these challenges. But perhaps it would be better to start the next one in the new year. And my idea for a new theme would be, instead of choosing one from an existing piece by one of us, to compose new themes specifically for these challenges. I think that that way, we would have more suitable themes. Moreover, the composer of the theme would themselves be able to participate in the challenge and not be left out of it, as is currently the case.
