    Yeah that rhythmic pattern is not necessary to be in the bass, but Chopin does retain the rhythmic pattern to different parts, and more importantly is that strong beat in the first beat of the measure is felt, but the long dotted minim in the bass for me quite defeats the pattern. Sometimes the pattern is lost for contrasting sections and passages, but not the whole passages or sections without having the pulse felt. haha! Henry

    Yeah. With out strong 1st beat, it could be a polanise or ballad. Lol. I felt the piano part could be more interesting and fun. 🙂
