Hi, Im using Sibelius 6 and sampletank and I dont know much about the midi setup, but I want to be able to channel select on certain notes, to change for example from staccato to another type of string. I can do this easy in cubase just by selecting the note and in info panel changing channel. How can I got about this in Sibelius? And Help much appreciated. Thanks

Hi Dont think it plays them at crescendo etc don't have any effect. :veryunsure:

Hi Im using Sibelius with sample tank. When I am scoring and want to switch from say leggato to staccation, how do I go about this. I understand how to write it in notaion, howerver does this have any effect on sample tank or any other plugins i use? Regards Gren

Hi I have a question about creating a melody. If i start creating a melody in let's say key of C, over 4 bars. Do I need to worry about the notes at the end of each bar, like you would if say you were writting to a chord progression ( as these notes would need to harmonize with the chords in that progression) Many Thanks

some bars on classical guitar. Is it write to say that you would compose for one instrument then add accompanying instruments next?

I guess im trying find a good starting point to build on. I am look at more of a classical feel, not like a modern song ie intro verse chorus etc. Does that help :veryunsure:

Hi I have some bars of music I have written which I would like to make into an arrangement / song. I need some help on how to do this. Foe example how long should a phrase be? What kind of structure do I need to layout, what sections do I need in an arrangement? Please can you help?? Many Thanks

Ok I'll explain better, For example my software has different strings ie staccato, plucked etc. When writing notation is it best to use articulation symbols in the notation, or just select the type of sound I want ie staccato form my sampler sound. Thanks
