  1. YAY! :DOk, so here is my composition. Why so many chords compared to the previous few? Well, I used the midi and finale software in my school (should I get finale btw?) and this is what I get :P I am thinking about deleting/taking off the previous few, 'cause they were just experiments. Haha :Dplease comment :) Oh, and I have been playing around with the idea of piano accompaniment recently as well. I will see what I get and haha :D (Oh no, thats not good...)Again, please comment :) veni veni, veni di leto

It must be so... cool to be able to orchestrate like that I cannot do it, but I love Opera thank god I am a vocalist and my teacher gives me some Oh, its so great. This opera has any tenor parts? Haha I loved it, and I don't really mind the language, just give us a translation, haha Music is about understanding what you are playing. AHHHHH!!!! I loved it You are awesome. Just AWESOME. - Daniel Yap H. Z.
  3. I did enjoy it, the voice however did not really suite the accompaniment. I was thinking something more... Xtina + Marilyn Monroe type of voice. The electric guitar was a good mix to textures.... I did enjoy it Haha I LOVED the sudden change in tempo at about 3:25. The foseto (spelling ) was ok, but could be improved upon. The ending was not srong enough in my opinion. - Daniel Yap H. Z. Have fun composing ;D
  4. It is hard for me to tell how you can improve, because our compositions are in different styles and I really cannot comment on a piece My analytical skills sucks, that is why I do so bad at critical listening and some... most parts of theory : P Haha, I only know so little : O Hehe. I can only tell you good job again CJ (That is one good thing I can do, PRAISE PEOPLE) Hahahahaha And yes, the low Db was funny : D It was like a sudden abrupt "PLONK" : D Hehe. -Daniel
  5. @CJ - piano first, because it is usually the basis for a lot of other opportunities.
  6. This is another sequence that I worked on, I went through last night's uploaded work, and I found a rhythmic motif that I liked (bar 46 of sequence #17b bar 46) and I added it in. :)Comment :) Sequence #19
  7. Thank you CJ Ok, I will see what I can do. Can anybody tell me a little bit about accompaniment? I am thinking about writing a solo tenor piece (for myself HAHAHAHAHA). And I really need a accompaniment. From there perhaps I will try to experiment with accompaniment. Thanks again Cj
  8. @ Heckel: Thanks Perhaps I should sustain those notes... I will see what I can do
  9. @ CJ Thanks Hmm... I try to add more and experiment in the future sequences. the thought of using some is quite interesting Thanks
  10. YAY! I got another work done. I feel so happy. This is one of the very rare cases where I look at my old work (in this case sequence #17) and add more/change it. I like this because it is, as usual, a duet form but with many variations and a key change from a 7th :O I am so proud of myself :D YAY :DPlease comment and listen to my other pieces as well :) (HI CJ :D) Sequence #17b

Ok, HI CJ :D :D :D Hehe, anyways... This is something that I thought of during my chemistry examination today (Its ok, I was gonna fail anyways) and I immediately came home to write it down. To my surprise, the first phrase of the tenor part sounded like "Die Lindenbaum" By F. Schubert... So anyway, I did not really know what style I compose any of my pieces in, so today I just left it as classical. This is my first orchestration piece :D I really need to work on this... Perhaps come up with something smaller but with more variations and such.Comment? Sure :) Please :)-Daniel Yap H. Z. Sequence #17
  12. This is a recorder trio (2 sop. recorders & 1 alto recorder). I have nothing much more to say... :P Hehe. I need to get some rest. Comment? :)Have a great day :)-Daniel Yap H. Z. Sequence #9b
  13. This is one of my favorite solo piano pieces :) This happened when I had a melody and actually worked and progressed it on. The thing that I noticed is that my endings are always quite abrupt... I have to spend some time to work on that. Please comment :)-Daniel Yap H. Z. Sequence #7
  14. The intro is soft. As in really, I had to turn up my speakers... I love your accents. Did you play this live? If you did, you are awesome, because I cannot play piano Haha... I really like your composition All The best in composing more
