  1. I'd personally use example number 3: it just seems much more flowing and easier to read. Seeing 8ths with diddle markings just looks awkward to me.
  2. In 2007, you use the * key to get to a menu, with from there you press 6 (is the key for the diddle line). I'm assuming its the same in 2003. Check your percussion maps to see if they are messed up.
  3. I used to help organize them when they just started... good times... What kind of piece would it be?
  4. So we've got 2 mallet composers and a battery arranger... Still need a theme.
  5. Yeah, I've heard a couple DCI shows. The only thing that I'd recommend against from this year is the horse themed show...
  6. That sounds good. We now need to pick a theme.
  7. I can write the battery parts if ye'd like. It also helps I lead a battery section :)
  8. Percussion quartet... that's juicy :) I'd work on that...
  9. Anyone know any good mallet pieces?
  10. In Storm and Sunshine. That is a difficult march for Percussion. (no kidding)
  11. I agree with you. There was not enough planning done and with the Symphonic competition going at the same time, there wasn't a lot of entries.
  12. Thanks a lot for teaching this class!
  13. Score recommended. Not needed.
  14. Nevermind, forget this post.
