Hi, I'm new here, and so far by what I hear on the forums the standards are really there...the music that I composed so far aren't really comparable, I'm quite a newbie at it, but still, please do take a look.
All the files are at Index of /purinlove88/selfcomposed
Please also take a look at my friend's works at Index of /purinlove88/friendwork
Would appreciate comments on anything. The namings on the MIDIs could possibly be something random, sometimes inspired, sometimes not. Like the cannaon one...I really do not know what name to give it so I just cooked up a random name.
Thanks!

Maybe it'll do some good to introduce the songs...since there are so many...
I usually only let my friends listen to them, so far what I remember about "Belong" was that it sounded like someone's school song, and for "Night Reflections" my friend helped me did a bit of editing for version 3, some of which I brought over to version 4.
"Belong" was written because I wanted to portray a feel of what it is like to belong to somewhere. "Night Reflection" is meant to be a variation of "Twinkle twinkle little star" (it's in the base melody or something)...inspired by my experience with listening and playing "Baa baa, blue sheep" on the piano. "Song of the Wind Child" was inspired by Arno, Wind Guardian Beast aka Wind Child of Summon Night: Swordcraft Story. The song has no relevance to any of the game music from there though. "Melodia" was somewhat inspired by some music used during a news program. "Voices" was something I tried to create out of memories of watching old japanese anime such as Azukin Chacha..."Drifty" was an attempt to try to get something abstract, ancient and mysterious, something like a pyramid music from Dragon Warrior 3, and it kind of reminded me of a modern chinese orchestral piece which I played once..."Hypersong" and "Clownsong" were inspired by some port/town music of DW3..."Overworld" was totally random, maybe something of Dragon Warrior again..."Cannaon" probably a jumpy piece of music that shows the mood of excited speculation. "Flute melody" was inspired by some car music melody I used to hear when I was little, I wanted to make something soothing out of it..."Polkadotta" was random, my original idea of it was meant to be of some store music from an RPG like Pokemon..."Sadmemori" is a sad melody of someone who pines for a lost love. "Fieldwalk" is something of a cheery nature because it would be a piece for a field trip to somewhere full of flora and fauna..."Dance" was one of my first songs, the original which I deleted off but I remade it in this version, I think it was somewhat inspired by a piano score or something...can't remember the composer and I lost the exam score sheet as well. "March" had a bit of a Team Rocket basement melody in it..."Snowfield" was short, I admit, it was meant to be of winter (though I never seen one before, sadly). "Childhood" was about the bright outlook and the happy memorabledays of childhood where we enjoy our toys and games.
Hope to hear feedback, even if its on my style...
