  1. I opened up finale print music, and it just wont work anymore. It will open and I can open a new song and everything, but when I go to play a song it just doesnt play. When I stop the song the measure marker changes, but its just not playing. I opened up finale notepad and have the same problem. I haven't changed any of the configuration files or anything, and I've tried reinstalling and rebooting. I'm running windows XP. Anyone know what might be causing this sudden problem? Edit: Specifically, my midi will work in it now but that s it. The soundfont and note indicator (green line down the screen when playing the song back) aren't functional. I've completely wiped everything finale related from my computer and reinstalled it and it still won't work. I'm stumped
  2. Yeah, that's it, it didn't even occur to me. I changed the notes and it worked fine.
  3. I'm using finale PrintMusic 2007, and I noticed it doing this with my trombones, but no other instrument so far. At seemingly random times it will just drop out and than come back in again during another measure. the red is where it stops playing, the green is where it comes back in. There are no dynamics or playback functions going that should make it do this. I'm running windows XP if that matters at all
  4. It sounds good sped up, but I have a soft spot for more down tempo jazz and prefer the slowed down version personally. Excellent tune either way.
  5. I was also interested in those CDs a few months ago. Before purchasing, though, I downloaded the first few CDs and gave them a listen. They do take you through exercises that help you recognize the different tampers and sounds that each note has. In the end I didn't end up buying the CDs, though.
  6. Thanks spc1st, but I was able to register in the end, I tried again a few minutes ago.
