Hi all, I'm trying to find the best and/or most versatile notation sw? I'm a writer guitarist w/ a lot of original songs in demo form on mp3 or other. Also, I play and sing live. I would like to be able to upload, score and transcribe my music, as well as sound output it in various "convincing" forms of instrumentation. It seems that the products I've been looking at do either well, but not both; ie Soundcloud and Musecore are fine for input, but lack in output quality. Finale & Dorico have great sound output but are priced in the stratus! Can anyone save me some time and agravation with my search? I'm not looking for "Film Industry Standard" results...just something better than average. My goal is to ultimately hire studio musicians to read & record my compositons, mostly for posterity sake.
