  1. Cool piece. I agree that the form was good, sounded like something right out of the 18th century.
  2. I'm not really a fan of screamo but I like your voice when your singing, I like my vocals a bit harsher like those of Opeth. you guys have a very "Rise Against' sort of feel, although some of your harmonies were too dissonant imo but good job, good demo.
  3. I liked the piece. I agree that it feels more like raindrops on a windows as time passes by, or at least thats what I picked up from it. I didn't feel as though the ending connected or meshed with the rest of the piece but great job. I really liked the piece. P.S quick question, did you use a program and then export the music from the program ( if so which program) or did you play it yourself, save it and then transferred it digitally online? I'm just asking cause I really liked the reverb effect that you got and am also wondering how you got it. Thanks
  4. Yea, there is supposed to be a melody, the 1st violin is supposed to be the main melody. How would you suggest I clean up the rhythm? make it simpler? As for cleaning up the harmony should I make it more consonance and maybe stick to the notes of the triad? Thanks, Endorian
  5. Thanks. Yea I need to work on my harmony skills in general. Any general tips for improvement to make parts agree more?
  6. Hi there, I'm new to this forum and fairly new to composing as well. I know some deal of theory but not to a great extent (ie, I know the basics, chords, modes, basic progression patterns but I don't know counterpoint or much harmony. ) This is my first attempt at a String Concerto and its short (only about a minute). Instrumentation: 2 Violins 1 Cello 1 Contrabass I would appreciate some constructive feedback as to how to improve the piece and as how to improve as a composer in general. Thanks. String Concerto G Minor.MID
