  1. Also a little late, but.. In the spider-man re-do of yours, I lold at 2:00
  2. I find humor in how "awesome" some music is; the kind of music that's intentionally crappy, but in a clever way if that makes sense. Usually deals with the use of organs, tuba, and timpani. It just gives me the clumsy appeal depending on how it's used.
  3. When will this start do you think :D I've not been terribly active here, and I guess it'd be something to do. Plus other competition threads are hard to keep up with because of the mass amount of posts and my annoyance of reading it all.
  4. Wooooot- Using the expression controller worked, Thanks ablyth
  5. In using the colossus/QL sample librarys, I wish to change the playback volume of a note in mid-note (swells and such). If I set the continuous data to alter the volume of a note in classic midi, it works just fine. On the same successful midi swell, it doesn't have a swell when I switch the sound over to a VST instrument. The volume data doesn't carry over. Any help? :/ (I'm using the full version of finale 2007 with the eastwest/QL 'colossus' library -- the instrument in particular is the violin)
  6. Actually, no. Regular note to note crescendos are working just fine, which is a start, but same note crescendos dont do anything. I want the same note of something to get gradually louder.
  7. Actually, it just started working when I turned human playback off. hm. Thanks though flint :D
  8. I've fixed my problem with the collossus player(s) not allowing more instruments than it would; turns out, it was the channel assignment that was messed up. Anywho; Now, in finale, I cant seem to figure out how to get a working 'playback' crescendo. I've been writing in Finale 2007 with intent to be played directly from Finale and the ability to not do crescendo's is really starting to make me mad. Noting it with the smart shape tool is only for looks, and the midi tool seems to want to change dynamics completely rather than blend them from one to the other. The Finale help manual has done nothing for me. Can anyone help me out here :/
  9. Noone has any insight? :/ Remember: Only the first player slot works, but the other 7 do nothing. http://img65.imageshack.us/img65/5610/blehkn3.jpg
  10. Right on Verdi, hehe I can open a rainbow of extra players and nothing will work beyond the 8 instruments of the first player. I use finale 2007, and I 'think' I know a good amount about it. I've figured out really anything i've had problems with before, it's just that this is just beyond me.
  11. I'm sure Finale works the same with all VST's, but.. I'm having a bit of trouble getting channels 9-64 to play VST instruments. 1-8 works just fine, but beyond that nothing works and I dont know how to fix this. Any insight?
  12. Hmm.. I can't seem to get my channels 9-64 working correctly in Finale but 1-8 work just fine. Does anyone else have insight :x
