Good luck getting it played. Orchestras are useless.

Jubilee Fanfare for Brass Band
Why is the trombone part written in treble clef? I have a Ph.D from Yale, and I'm pretty sure trombone is written in bass clef, you should fix that. Happy composing!!

THIS IS GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD

Wechseldn for Chamber Ensemble
Nice parallel 5ths. It's kind of jarring, and if you're going to write in such a tonal idiom you should adhere to at least BASIC voice leading principles.

Pop music thread, go!
Rent is a very powerful show! Just the story itself helps lift some of the mediocre music in the show, however the good music in the show is quite tats.

Duet for Flute and Violin (sketches)
This piece will probably be about 4-5 short movements, I'm not sure yet. I've been throwing a lot of ideas around, it's more of a side project to the big thing I'm working on. Doesn't hurt to have little pieces like this in the ol' portfolio you know. Anyway, just as an explanation to the chaos of this score, the first "section" is essentially going to be the opening statement of the first movement, and the rest of the movement will develop out of this material. The second "section" of what I've posted is basically a canonic invention, beginning with the subject in the flute and yadda yadda, you get the drift. So here you go. flute-violin-duet midi.mid duet-flute-violin sketches.pdf

Bassoon Concerto - First Movement
This is great, I love the rhythmic vitality, and the approach to tonality is fresh
