  1. Christmas music, as it's always intended, is "static" in terms of the theme. It concentrates about an aspect of those times. As an interesting composition, it's like a personal composition. I didn't invest a lot of time making this up, for I have too many hands on my time. I appreciate your comments, but I'd love to know what do you think I could do to make this more interesting.
  2. Just visualize this on 3D, because I don't like how does it sound in MIDI. The Lyra sounds real enough, but the flute is too mellow to me. I want your hear you by your posts here (although I cannot hear your posts. I can read them). As my personal opinion: there is a rest somewhere, but I don't know if I must obliterate it. The flute cannot be softened, decrecended or however you want to keep the music on. Note: This is a continuation of "Sleeping on a Crystal Christmas Night". Grammar note: the word "etcetera" has been deleted from the common dictionary, so don't use it. Op.2__I_mov.___Allegretto_Festivo.mid
  3. I'm just a scientific student, not an abstract man, so tell me: what do you mean with "distracting"? (not on my brother's behalf)
  4. When you play something (in music) and even sing it, it's not that boring. I grew up with classical music, but I'm turning into a Romantic twist. I sang (if it's the past tense of "sing) the Missa Solemnis once and it was a little bit challenging. Well, I think I can proceed with H
  5. Why? C minor doesn't have B flat, unless I haven't input a B, that is.
  6. I've found that the Microsoft XP's Sound Recorder (Grabadora de Sonidos) can make a 1min recording, but my pieces are +2:00min. I was thinking about buying Finale, but I don't live in the USA. Besides, leightwing's method doesn't work for my computer, but thank you anyway. Thanks you all! PD.: I know my brother was the one who started this post.
  7. An update to this project: Sleeping on a Crystal Christmas Night on G MAJOR! Not in E flat! This is just a little change because the "I mov. - Allegro cantabile" couldn't fit for the Lyra and Flute in E flat. So, here are the modifications about this op.2, if I remember well. I need to fix some things about these, but I want to know how am I doing. Enjoy! PD.: I recommend to hear this on December 24th. It's all about the ambience. 8. And it is; believe me.
  9. 1- It's in E flat major. 2- The "chime" instrument is a Lyra. 3- Thank you. 4- Somebody else?
  10. In CR, instruments cost: Yamaha Flute: $6-10 Electronic Piano: $900 Clarinet: FREE! (It was a gift) Any percussion: $5 Violin: FREE! Viola: FREE! (borrowed from the Music School)
  11. I've composed this because I have recently heard too many christmas carols from my mother and brother. It was composed for a wierd trio, because this are the instruments I found in my house. Besides, could someone, please, help me to compose some lyrics for the Flute part. I have and idea, but it doesn't sound very good (we're out of season). Polite commentaries will be accepted Sleeping_on_a_Crystal_Christmas_Day.mid
  12. For the ones who want to play it, here is a *.mid file. I'm going to post the score if I happen to find it Turkish_March__K.331__III_Allegretto_.mid
  13. Mozart's Rondo alla Turca (Turkish March) is a classical jewel (at least, for me). I invite you to comment about it. I can't play the piano middle-part, though.
  14. I played it on violin for a concert up-to-tempo. It was a piano and violin duet. Fascinating *.mp3 I have, but I don't remember where I putted it.
  15. Sudnegel is a very old language, but also the name of a book my little brother wrote not too long ago. It contents twenty-five chapters, so my brother wants to compose four pieces for each chapter (makes up 80 pieces). He's working on a chorale, but he will return to this thread when he finishes.
