  1. Hey all, This is my composition I have worked on for a competition in my school. I'm really hoping to win this year (actually the first year I've mustered up the courage to enter ;) ) and I'd like to hear what others think about my work. About the name, 'Hall of Mirrors'... Think of yourself walking down a hall, it's eerie, silent, and you're alone. You want to get out, but you can't. The only thing surrounding yourself are mirrors, and the reflections of yourself. The work has an icy feel to it aswell ;) Enjoy! All comments are appreciated! - Gizmometry Hall_of_Mirrors.mid
  2. Haha I'm laughing at my seat right now! Your next work should be representing you stuck in detention with her. :P I reckon this'd make a good addition to any comical movie, thumbs up.
  3. UPDATE: I fixed it; had something to with the Sound Controls, so I went to Start>Programs>Accessories>Entertainment>Volume Control, then changed the 'SW Synth' and 'Wave'. Thanks anyway! Thread closed.
  4. A good job there, nice riff! Great use of the 1-4-5 chords. Although, the section where the big band 'shouts', the bass needs to be more noticeable in that section. Otherwise it feels a bit bland.
  5. Heh really? And you don't know how to fix it? Meh, oh well. So you use Finale?
  6. Hi, I'm having this problem (that used to not occur), that when I press play on my Sibelius composition, it scrolls through the score, but nothing is played! I think this has something to do with the MIDI configuration, but the thing is, it DID work fine before! But what I did try: - checked it wasn't on mute/sound wasn't down - clicked 'Test' on the Input Device Configuration; no sound was heard. I really don't know what I did to make it not work, but I'd really like to have it working; I've been working on a composition for an upcoming competition! Thanks for your help! Gizmometry :P
