The final version of my first sonata

Featured Replies

Hi! Again, my sonata... but this is the final version. It has four movements, complete with the correct finger settings for all the movements. I dedicated it to my daughter who studied music as well.

final version sonata 1

Best wishes,

Andr

Can we get an MP3?

.. Unfortunately, I can't read music.. But even the notes look beautiful!

If we could just have an MP3..

Hm, it's the same isn't it? :(

I say what I said - it's great. Congratulations and best wishes for daughter :)

And (I'll repeat others' words:) ) could you post mp3, it would be nice...

Hi!

I am studying the parts myself so I canmake good life recordings. However, I have no idea how long that will take, so here are links to midi bounces:

Part 1 (midi bounce)

part 2 (played my me)

part 3 (midi bounce)

part 4 (midi bounce)

the midi bounces sound very mechanical so think them a little more musical...

Well... of course it's the same. But now it is totally finished. I added a fourth part and did editing on all the parts, including putting the finger settings.

Haha thanks very much. I know that feeling when you write a piece and you must study it like Bach's or Chopin's composition. Good luck studying it :(

A Job well done. The music's very good, you use good rhythms, melodies and harmonies. It's nice to see the whole thing packaged up. I'm still not totally crazy about the second movement but its still quite nice. The first and third movements are my favourite. Congratulations.

Thanks, Brahms. I agree that the second is very different from the other 3 but t sticks in my head all the time and I think that's a good sign.

Hehe, for me the second movement is the best despite being so different

Wow I really enjoyed this piece. It sorta reminds me of Greig's one and only piano concerto. Execellent job. You have a very distinct style and there is actual purpose behind your music.

Hi pianomanec,

thanks for the compliment! I made (again) a last version, this time the score had pedal markings as well. I put everything on my website here;

where you can read it and listen to it at the same time.
