Appears to have gotten smaller?

I was hoping that, if anything, they'd make it bigger :)

Yeah, a big one would be nice.

I hate trying to format a post in here, especially if it uses things like the

 tag. It would be cool if the quick-reply was as wide as the post would be (or close to it) but about this tall.

If you're writing an in-depth, complex post, you go into the full post mode. The whole point of quick reply is that it's for simple, quick posts, which don't need all the extra features.

That is an excellent point, I suppose this just stems from my laziness.

Well, I C&P longer posts from Word anyways....

Same, too many times have I been writing a long review and I accidently hit tab followed by backspace so I lose the whole post, so I now always type them in notepad.

I know! :P

I've lost posts I'd been half-heartedly typing for over an hour!

Wouldn't it have timed out by then?
