Sonatina #3 in G Major, ''Chatterbox'', Op. 12

Another sonatina in the same style than the previous one.

Nah.... Forget that above, it's better as Chatterbox, because it doesn't breathe, it simply doesn't shut up!

I don't find it to be as good as the previous one, but it had to come out.

This is what, the 3rd one you've posted in the past 3 weeks? Something like that...

I like the stride/ragtime influence, it keeps it nice and fun. It's almost silly-happy; it's something that, if I learned it, I'd probably play crazy fast just because it seems to be suitably showy.

No real suggestions; it is what it is.. any suggestions would be pointing it into a different direction from what it is, and I like it for what it is.

I liked it, it's kind of funny.

The only thing I can say is that since this one is longer that your other one maybe there could have been a key change somewhere to reduce some of the G major-ness of it and add some variety.

A fine fun piece which really whips along. "Chatterbox" is a great name. I'm looking forward to a possible new sonatina called "Debate" where you alternate contrasting themes :).

This is a fun little piece, I think I sould write a sonatina now...

This was a fun piece to listen to. It had humor and energy. Perhaps Sonatian is not the best way to label this piece. I also found the piece to be most enjoyable when the melody and harmony moved away from the strict diatonic offerings. I also think a little more organization for a sense of form would add to the work.

This was a great and fun piece to listen to. Definitely "chatterboxy" and opera buffa in presentation. :P
