Simple theme on piano

Featured Replies

Well, what can I say... it's pretty much the same theme going over and over. Don't really know if I want to make a proper piece out of it. Any thoughts or advice? =)

I didn't find it actually that repetitive (or simple either).... You are obviously pretty good technically and I like your choice of harmonies. As for advice on how to improve this piece - I don't really know. I'm sure you could extend it by coming up with a different contrasting theme but sorry I'm not sure what to suggest. Maybe a switch to a major key?

Thanks finrod. It's not too simple for my level either really, seeing as I couldn't play this if my life depended on it, but I heard some really great pieces by the other forums users.

Thanks for listening =)

I find the left hand a bit reptitive at times, but thats something you can work on. It's a piece worth developing for certainm because the motifs you use and the harmonies are all excellent.

Thanks for your kind words. I think I'll go back to work on it some day, I have to finished a lot of projects first tho, and I'm considering taking piano lessons so I'd be able to play my music. The fact that it's all programmed might also add to the feeling of it being repetitive, it would sound less static with some natural tempo and velocity variation ^^
