Really liked the flow to the whole song. The instruments play well off each other and the dynamics work really well. I didn't hear too much of a big band ballad sound though. The chord progression kind of sounded like a big band tribute to the Beatles and the blues scale I heard over it sometimes just didn't work for me. Of course this could just be the midi thats given me this impression. I would really like to see the score if you could post it.

The saxophones sound really good (notewise and soundwise). What vst is that? JABB? You seem to have experience in this from listening to this piece. The harmonies are very pretty and jazzy, which gives a calm and enjoyable mood. I can completely imagine this being played in a lounge or a hotel lobby. I think smooth jazz ballad would fit the title of this piece better though.

The slightly faster part at 3:00 was beautiful. I thought the instruments blended extremely well there. Nice ending on the mediant at 4:09, it's always nice to hear this kind of ending. I will take note of it and use it in my own compositions if you don't mind;). The final chord sounded a little, out of place, partly becauseit wasn't sustained long enough?

I'm definitely giving this more than one listen, it's such a good piece. Keep it up!

Its quite a nice piece that flows with some flirtatiously scored flutes. It sounds quite similar to a piece I know called Misty, which is a Jazz Ballad, if you havn't heard it before, Id suggest giving it a listen for some nice ideas.

Maybe try adding some more blues notes? Its got some good potential :]!
