February 10, 200818 yr This is the first piece I've ever composed, using Finale. I stumbled across the first melody while messing around on my vibraphone. It entranced me, and I had to elaborate on it. The piece is for two marimba players. It sounds somewhat pirate-y(?) but I enjoy it nonetheless. The finale file sounds the best, actually sounding like a mallet instrument, but both work. The MIDI file sounds like a piano, and the quickly repeated notes, are supposed to be roles. February 10, 200818 yr Is this your first composition ever or first composition using finale? If it is your first composition ever, I think it is awesome! Well it's still great even if it isn't your first piece. Too bad I don't have a duet partner because I would love to play this!
