Its the name of a painting in a book of expressionism... Flipping for intermediary names.

All the instruments are Synful with the exception of a brief WIVI trumpet. The odds and ends (and Pizz) are Vienna.

Your piece is pretty good! Nice use of percussion in particular. You use some beautiful orchestration and chords. I got shivers halfway through! (the good kind ;) )

EDIT- I'm not sure how entirely impressionistic the piece is- while I can see the thing you are talking about in my head,

it seems to me that it doesn't meet the standards of most impressionistic music that I have listened to.

Keep going, and don't stop by any means!

The piece was not intended to be impressionist. The title just happen to be named after an expressionist painting (for some reason I thought it was an impressionist painting).

I keep a number of art books at my desk for synesthetic inspiration (to come clean my favorite is a chronology of womens period and conceptual shoes... dont ask me why)

Honestly I am not yet versed enough in art music to differentiate any more than the basic baroque, classical etc... and even then.
