I thought it was quite nice - definitely set a mood, though I'd be interested to learn which precise one you were aiming for. This is exactly the kind of music you tend to hear in advertisements nowadays, given its concise and somewhat idiosyncratic feel. Does the recording contain live takes, or are they samples? It all sounds rather realistic to me.

It all sounds rather realistic to me. It's all played live, the bass is played on a keyboard as is the drum track, the banjo and guitar are the real thing. I suppose the mood I was going for is just a lumbering "sunny day" type feel. A friend of mine said it made him think of a moose walking through the woods.

Long time waiting in the doctor? Go with the _______ and read while you wait! Get informed with the new news! Sports! Economy! Etc! That is what brought to my mind. :D
