first of all, you have some killer reverb there...it was kinda distracting

also, it would be nice if you would post a pdf of the score, more people would review it if they could follow along

anyway, about the music

:20 i think the chords were a bit jarring, banging on the high notes, same with the ones at :50, :58, especially with the style you are writing in

at 1:39 and teh passage from 2:14-2:25 ish was superb, awesome stuff there

the repeat just came, good, nice use of sonata form (i think...i suck with form lol)

3:23 again, the high notes are jarring, but now that i think about it, it could just be all the reverb

the ending was good too, beety-like with a nice touch with the high notes :D

some things that bothered me were the rhythms and teh running scales. it seemed like anytime you had some kind of theme, it was just up and down the scale. the rhythm was a bit boring, mainly because it was like a barrage never ending 16th notes. just not my kind of style.

overall though, i did enjoy this work, and i would be curious to hear it again with teh score in front of me. you made excellent use of the range of the piano, and your chords phrases and the likes seemed to work out great.

btw, can you play this? tremedous dexterity is needed it seems :)

good job man, i hope to hear more from you soon :D

I'd say the two main sections are a bit to monotone becourse there is no use of rhythmic variation between the two. Since rhythem is a very predominant feature of this piece i think you could have made use of a rhythmic disctinction between the two main sections. The two main sections are quit monotone in atmosphere too.

You have a nice heterophonic writhing style here. The development has some nice moments with catchy motives.

Around the middle of the piece the rythem indeed becomes jarring. I realy like the second coda with the high cresending notes. You made great use of the sonata form and the ending was very suitable to my taste.

Overall the piece was too monotone but the nice heterophonic writingstyle and use of form made up for it.

Nice piece.
