June 7, 200817 yr I saw this in Toronto, it was extremely cool. My opinion is hardly going to count as an unbiased response to the merits question, but I would recommend that you see one if you ever do get the opportunity - they're good arrangements and if you like any of the music to begin with then you'll appreciate it all the more coming out of a symphony orchestra. :)
June 7, 200817 yr Author I have orchestral recordings of a few game classics. I must say, they're impressive. I'd see such a concert if I ever got a chance.
June 7, 200817 yr july 18th. Okay. i will find a way to get there! I hope :x I'm really happy that Play! and Video Games Live are doing what they're doing. I feel like video game music has reached a level of appreciation that film music has. Maybe not on the same level, but it's getting there :)
